Bio: Robert Aguirre worked for five years as an aerospace engineer with the Boeing Company in Southern California building and launching satellites for defense and commercial customers. He is now leveraging his passion for innovation and making a positive and direct impact on people lives by launching a career in medical devices. He spent his business school internship with the Danaher Corporation, performing due diligence on merger and acquisition opportunities for one of their largest operating companies, Fluke Biomedical.

Robert is interested in being a founder and operator of a high tech venture in the biomedical device field. Eventually, he would like to transition into a venture capital investor role.

Springworks Project Title: Healthcare in the Hispanic Market Relative to Cardiovascular – Diagnostic Services and Medical Technology
Springworks Project Description: The focus of the project will be on researching the creation of entrepreneurial or venture investment opportunities within the Hispanic healthcare space specific to the cardiovascular diagnosis and medical device space. Of importance is taking into account how Healthcare Reform will affect these areas.
