Bio: Felicia Brown is a socially progressive and innovative entrepreneur of more than five years. She has dedicated the work of her corporation to the advancement of underrepresented minority communities via the tools of financial literacy, real estate investment, strategic tax management, and sound business consulting. Prior to engineering her corporation, Felicia worked for a number of notable companies including Travelers Insurance Company, A.T. Kearney, SCORE! Educational Centers, and H&R Block. She is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and received a B.S. in Business Administration from UC Berkeley’s Walter A. Springworks Project (Working) Title: A Return to Greatness: Solving the American Housing Crisis Through Financial Literacy
Springworks Project Description: Felicia’s Springworks Project will allow her to form, and write a comprehensive business plan for, a non-profit organization focused on financial literacy in America’s underserved minority communities. Consequently, the non-profit entity created will also promote an increase in successful home ownership within these communities by specifically addressing challenges surrounding access to credit.
